Infrastructure management in AWS, Private cloud, administration experience in Linux, Server management (Tomcat) and installations, MySQL database administration.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Systems administration-related solutions for project operational needs

  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments – Dev, QA, Prod

  • Log and thread dump analysis – for reporting of performance exceptions

  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers – System and Application

  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks

  • Lead ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment

Basic Qualification and Skills

  • Working expertise in managing AWS EC2 instances /private cloud infra

  • Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator

  • IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian etc

  • Hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB – server admin

  • Experience working on java application with Tomcat

  • Experience with load balancers like Nginx and Apache

  • Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting

  • Good Knowledge on networking protocols

  • Self-Driven who works with minimal supervision / follow-up

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
